I have refused to do this for the past month or so but it's time to declare a code scarlet: The Mayden is going on a break.
But not before pushing out one final outfit post and then disappearing.
Found stashed at the bottom of an old suitcase, this chiffon, lightweight outerwear has become one of my favouite pieces to don for a pop of colour. It is woven in an airy scarlet, a delicately bold piece that answers to all of my colour and weather dilemmas. Paired as usual with black and a fail-proof combination of crop top and high-waisties, this look has become some sort of uniform for me on days where I am too lazy and exhausted to think of what to wear.
Which is me on most days recently, and also precisely the reason why I am calling a code scarlet (named or the coincidence of this look, I assure you.)
The exam period is veering dangerously close and I am knee deep in revising for them. As much as I enjoy blogging, I have mentioned previously that present life will always remain a priority, hence the lack of posts since the last month or so.
A two-week break shall ensue once this post goes live. The Mayden will return renewed and restored after the exam period.
For now, cheers and see you real soon.
